Any excuse

A seasonal treat. I got called on this one. It's incredible the things that small people remember. We had been doing a cake at for each season, decorated accordingly.
Our seasonal homage has been lacking a little since our Winter babe arrived so after missing a Springtime and Summertime table, we are in full swing with Autumntime.

We simply dropped a little colour in with a little sugar and shook to make our coloured sugar. The colours are Autumnal, except somehow the red became pink, strange what happens when you have a four-year-old girl as a helper. And those other shapes are leaves, with generous lashing of sugar they kinda become like clouds: what ever you imagine them to be. That pink bunny, we called her Smudge... 

I have no doubt I'll get called on the Wintertime cake. 
Not that this Mama's complaining. Mmmm, mmm.
