The bed stash: hers

My Spring does love to stash.

I'm often finding little collections of precious items in various places.

Under her pillows on her bed is a favourite one. For those evenings when she's not quite ready to close her eyes, she has a veritable choice of entertainment available.

The graffitti knitting Granny did and had intended to sew on the fence before leaving, some weeks ago never made it out of this little lady's hands and snuggling position on her bed.
There's always a book or two, whatever is favourite at the moment. The sock monkey, made for her as a baby by Pompa's cousin in Canada, and Rosie the giraffe(?) from my friend in Scotland. Her ghost bed light. Not seen are the things that fall down the side; home-made domino cards, a ball that lights up in the dark. Sometimes a feather or a flower, sometimes some thing she's made or painted. Her pillow of choice (at the moment it's the dinosaur one made for her when she was very little by Dada's cousin).

I enjoy watching this collection grow, dwindle and change through the days and weeks. It's a little insight into how she sees the world, what's important to her.
