Day by day

I spoke of that odd state of being last week. We're here, but we're there and we're also next year. Dabbling in all places at once.
There are Christmas plans to be made, enrolments to be sorted, Estate agents to talk to, and hire cars to be arranged. And others. I find fewer moments to visit this space. There are many moments where my head feels jammed. So we continue to approach each day one task at a time and do those normal daily activities.

We play and we sit. We explore things that will join us on this journey (new cot sheets make lovely sleeping bags!). We grow, and learn new things.

We have had many family and friends visit these past few weeks and it's been wonderful. While it may not be recommended by those with best laid plans it is what makes us happy. Soaking in the people we love. (And me thinks it's working in our favour...better get there before they leave! Yay!)

There was even a brief opportunity to help a friend and my sister-in-law learn how to wet felt and needle felt. (Meanwhile my love of wool and it's attribute continues to grow)

Blowing bubbles in a sunhat and dress. Only wearing shoes 'cause Mama insisted. It must have been 8 degrees Celsius out there. Seriously?!?

This day to day seems to help with calm whilst allowing us to gently and continually chip away at that list. We're counting days now. Gulp.
